The Future of Mobility

“Wherever You Want To Go” was the first release under BMW Documentaries, a documentary series of four short films exploring the future of mobility. This exploration was told through the lens of the cities we live in, our past, technology and invention, and predictions of the future. From the minds of some of the most influential scientists, academics, pioneers, and entrepreneurs of our time, the documentary painted a unique picture of technology, culture, cities, our past, present and how it all relates to the future of mobility.

The films featured extraordinary talent;

Astronaut, Buzz Aldrin; Futurist and conceptual designer for Blade Runner, Aliens and Tron, Syd Mead; (at the time) Google VP Marissa Mayer; ZipCar founder Robin Chase; Treehugger.com founder Graham Hill; Ridelust.com editor-in-chief Mike Musto; "Reinventing the Automobile" co-author Lawrence Burns; and Director of Environmental Affairs, Richard Mattila.
