VANGUARD
…AT THE MOVIES
Vanguard had a problem. They were one of the most reputable investment firms in the US, but their advertising had become…staid.
Then came a rare gift: creative freedom.
Vanguard gave us permission to do whatever we wanted (within reason), as long as we made people laugh, and feel something for the brand.
So we did what any sensible team would do. We parodied genre movies.
Overwrought dramas. Heavy-handed tropes. Familiar formulas.
Except this time, the punchline was investing. It worked.
